Product Destruction for Food Manufacturers
When a production run fails QA, a lot gets recalled, or a SKU is discontinued, that inventory can't go in a dumpster. We destroy pre-consumer food and beverage product and issue a Certificate of Destruction on every job, so nothing reaches the gray market and your brand stays protected.
Product that can't ship is a liability until it's gone
A batch on quality hold. Pallets of finished goods past their pull date. A recall that just pulled thousands of units back to your dock. It's taking up rack space, and every day it sits there it carries risk.
If off-spec or expired product slips into resale channels, or a scavenger pulls it from a landfill, it can reappear on a shelf under your label. For a food or beverage brand, that's a safety event and a PR problem in one. Certified destruction closes that door for good.
- Failed QA batches and off-formula runs that can't be released
- Recalled lots that need documented, verifiable removal
- Expired, damaged, or mislabeled finished goods
- Discontinued SKUs and co-pack overruns tying up warehouse space

A clean handoff, from your dock to Certificate
Four steps. You point us at the product, we handle transport and destruction, and you get paperwork you can hand to an auditor.
Assess & Verify
We review your product type and volume, confirm the right method, and check it against the disposal rules that apply.
Secure Pickup
We coordinate secure pickup with you, with chain-of-custody assurance from the moment it leaves your dock.
Destroy & Divert
Product is de-packaged and crushed, then diverted for recycling where the material allows.
Certify
You receive a Certificate of Destruction or Disposal confirming the job was completed to spec.
The right method for the material
No two products destroy the same way. We match the method to your product so it's irrecoverable and, where possible, kept out of the landfill.
De-Packaging
We separate product from its packaging so both streams can be handled correctly and more material can be recovered.
Crushing & Baling
Our horizontal baler applies over 400,000 lbs of force, rendering packaged goods flat and unsellable at high volume.
Recycling & Diversion
We recycle as much of what we process as the material allows, keeping usable streams out of the landfill.
Our 30 HP plant-based horizontal baler processes packaged food and beverage product at scale, so a full truckload of recalled or expired inventory clears fast.
Built for regulated food & beverage product
We've spent 5+ years helping manufacturers get rid of product they can't sell without creating a bigger problem than they started with.
Certificate on every job
A Certificate of Destruction or Disposal is standard on every job, at no extra cost.
Full chain of custody
Tracking from your dock through destruction, so the trail is documented end to end.
Recall & compliance ready
We handle destruction the way FDA- and FSMA-regulated product requires, with paperwork built for audits.
Scheduled or on-demand
Set up a recurring program for ongoing waste, or call us for a one-time recall on short notice.
Truckload capacity
From a few pallets to a full trailer load, we can service the needs of our customers.
Eco-responsible disposal
We recycle and divert wherever the material allows. Much of our equipment can separate out byproducts for better use.
Destruction that stands up to an audit
Food and beverage manufacturers answer to federal and state regulators on how unsellable product is disposed of. We follow those rules and give you the documentation to prove it.
Every job produces a Certificate of Destruction, so when a regulator, retailer, or brand-protection team asks how a recalled lot was handled, you have a clean answer on file.

Food manufacturer FAQs
Why can't we just send failed product to the landfill?
Landfills don't guarantee secure disposal. Product sent there is often pulled by scavengers or unauthorized sellers and can reappear on the secondary market under your label. For food and beverage brands that's both a safety risk and a liability. Certified destruction makes the product irrecoverable and gives you paperwork proving it.
Do you provide a Certificate of Destruction for recalled lots?
Yes. Every job includes a Certificate of Destruction or Disposal at no extra cost. It's the documentation you hand to a regulator, retailer, or your own brand-protection team to show a recalled lot was removed and destroyed correctly.
Can you handle a full truckload or a recall on short notice?
We can. We coordinate pickups from a few pallets up to a full trailer, and our baler processes 35,000 cubic feet of product per hour. When a recall hits and product needs to move fast, we clear it quickly.
Do you de-package product so the material can be recycled?
Where it makes sense, yes. We de-package product to separate the food or beverage from its packaging, which lets us divert more material for recycling and keep usable streams out of the landfill.
What documentation do we get for FDA or FSMA audits?
You get a Certificate of Destruction and chain-of-custody tracking from pickup through destruction. That documentation supports your FDA and FSMA requirements and answers the question of how unsellable or recalled product was disposed of.
Do you destroy the packaging and labels too?
Yes. Anything carrying your brand marks — labels, cartons, promotional and point-of-sale material — can be destroyed alongside the product so none of it gets reused or ends up on a counterfeit run.
What areas do you serve?
We provide on-site and off-site destruction across California, Nevada, Utah, and Arizona, including Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, Sacramento, Las Vegas, Reno, Henderson, Salt Lake City, Phoenix, and Tucson. For manufacturers outside these areas, we can arrange secure pickup and transport.
Clear the product. Protect the brand.
Whether it's a failed batch, an expired lot, or a full recall, we handle the whole process from pickup through certified destruction. Tell us what you've got and we'll take it from there.
